A breath of novelty on courchevel

Wednesday, January 26, 2011

Don’t be so sure, this poster doesn’t illustrate a new play  inspired by the Comedy Dell Arte. It depicts the birth of a real and modern lifestyle mixing a quality art of living with work and sport, called active lifestyle.

The fusion between fashion and sport

Imagine a place, Courchevel, the height in alpine luxury, designers such as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Eley Kishimoto, blend all together and you will obtain the Born Designers festival, which took place from January 13 to 16.
Its founder, Jean Christophe Chopin, attracted the cream of designers of luxury and sport industries to showcase their latest innovations.

Presentation of new brands, roundtables, Worshop, concept cars exposure … with guests like : Thierry Lasry (designer), Ben Wilson (designer) Yorgo Tloupas (artistic director of Black Crows and founder of Intersection Magazine), Jérome Coste (founder of Les Ateliers Ruby), Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (french fashion designer) Mark Elley (designer), Sasha Lakic (designer), Nils Guadagnin (artist and founder of the gallery White Office)

-The designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac with his models-

... But also pleasant surprises

So comfortable in ski boots as on stiletto heels, Castelbajac’s models  illuminated ski runs with a fashion show, rich in color to enclose this event.

Even the time of a weekend our famous designers can’t stop to innovate and bring a new breath. Emotion, dynamism, creativity are the vital leads of this event which also served to reward the best of them and we can say that the guests have well earned their Pass.

The union between Ugg and Jimmy Choo

Wednesday, January 26, 2011

Imagine two very different beings : to one side Uggs, sheepskin boots, and of the other one, Jimmy Choo’s rhinestone stilettos ...

By dint of living together in the the "shoes-dressing" of fashionistas, an unnatural union, has giving birth to “Ugg Choo”, available in 5 copies. Finally, Tamara Mellon’s baby, the artistic director of Jimmy Choo looks like his father, uggs have not lost their original shape. Boots are accessorised: decorated with golden studs or silver stars, fringed or printed with leopard or zebra pattern ...

-Models of the collection Ugg Australia and Jimmy Choo-

Ugg as you know it, are the shoes you must have for the winter since 2004. The new year did not leave the famous boots in their box and lower winter temperatures has played in their favour. Deemed unsightly, the advantage of these shoes is to let your feet warm and to be comfortable but of course by removing the glamorous side, this is controversial.

The Uggs, boots in a simple fashion design, are the perfect companion for casual wear, will they know the success expected with this daring customization...

To be fashionable, don't be scared, in any case with these boots, you can at least be sure of one thing, you will not have cold feet and you ... will you adopt it?
